Jon E. Bready

Jon E. Bready, M.S.M.E., has been with Collision Safety Engineering, L.C., since 1988. He has two decades of experience in the reconstruction of automobile, railroad, and industrial accidents. He has additional expertise in methods of photogrammetry, occupant kinematics analysis, rollover crashes, and seat belt restraint system forensics, design and performance. As a senior engineer, he offers engineering consulting services and has testified in Federal and State courts.

Credentials & Professional Honors

Mr. Bready earned a B.S. degree in Design Engineering Technology from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, in 1988. He also earned a M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from BYU in 1995. Mr. Bready was also designated an accredited accident reconstructionist by the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction in 2006. He has been an invited seminar lecturer to the Kentucky State Police and MATAI organizations on topics of accident investigation and reconstruction. Mr. Bready keeps current on the industry’s leading-edge methods and practices through various continuing education programs including computer simulation training, occupant protection systems, advanced vehicle systems, vehicle data recorders, human factors, and vehicle dynamics.
