Ronald P. Nordhagen has worked at Collision Safety Engineering, L.C. since 1990 where he investigates and reconstructs automotive accidents, and works on research in various automotive-safety related fields. He has expertise in the areas of accident reconstruction, pole impacts, photogrammetry, restraint use, simulation programs, occupant kinematics, and automotive and heavy truck crash data recorder downloads.

Credentials & Professional Honors

Mr. Nordhagen earned his Masters in Technology Management from Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, and earned his M.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Utah in Salt Lake City. He is a licensed Professional Engineer, has been certified by the Accreditation Commission for Traffic Accident Reconstruction (ACTAR), and is a recipient of the 2007 SAE Ralph H. Isbrandt Automotive Safety Engineering Award.
